| Telling the Time In telling
the time by the clock, both the Tagalog and the Spanish
terminologies are used, with the latter pre-dominating.
Both terminologies are given below, the Spanish being
spelled according to the Tagalog sound system. Where
the time of the day (whether a.m. or p.m.) is not
mentioned, the Spanish terminology is invariably used,
especially in conversations, and the a.m. or the p.m.
